Left to right standing: Richard C. Wersinger, his brother Charles Wersinger (Uncle Charlie). Seated L to R: Minna F. Kreutzmann Wersinger, Florence Wersinger (Aunt Florence, Uncle Charlie's wife). Minna and Richard were married for nearly 46 years having first met in January 1944 in Sydney, Australia. Dad passd away in February, 1992. They are Susan A. and Richard J.'s Mom and Dad. Hazleton, Pennsylvania. ca November 1946

Jennifer Marie bidding her Daddy, Rich, good-bye as he departs from Greenville-Spartanburg Airport, South Carolina to join his new ship, USS BAGLEY (FF-1069), that was then in Subic Bay, the Phillipines. Jenn was a little over 3 years old. Rich was on his way to be Engineer Officer in USS BAGLEY. ca July 1977.

Midshipman Richard John Wersinger, USNR of the University of South Carolina Naval Reserves Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Unit. Rich graduated from Carolina in 1970 and was commissioned Ensign, USNR at the same time. He retired as Commander, USNR in August 1994. ca 1966.

The washing was at Jenn's Nana and Doc's home in Simpsonville, South Carolina in July 1977. Nana and Doc were her names for her Mom's parents Doris and Thomas J. Wilson, Jr. ca July 1977.

LT Richard John Wersinger at Ensign John M. Wilson, USN graduation and commissioning at the US Naval Academy, Annapolis Maryland in June 1977. John was one of three Wilson brothers-in-law from Rich's marriage to his late wife, Maureen. All three brothers-in-law are USNA grads: Tom, Class of 1973; John Class of 1977; and Jim, Class of 1980. ca june 1977.
